Fresh Tomato Pie

Fresh Tomato Pie

Ingredients

9 inch pie crust, unbaked
½ cup mozzarella, shredded
34 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
½ cup Vidalia onian, thinly sliced
½ cup Caesar salad dressing
½ tsp dried basil leaves
½ tsp salt
tsp black pepper

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. Bake crust 10-12 minutes or until golden

3. Cool on wire rack

4. Reduce oven to 350 degrees

5. Sprinkle half the cheese on bottom of cooled crust

6. Top with tomato slices and arrange onion slices evenly over tomatoes

7. Combine salad dressing, remaining cheese and seasonings in small bowl and mix well

8. Spoon over vegetables

9. Bake 40-45 minutes, until bubbly and golden
