- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 ½ cups oatmeal, blended (measure first, and then blend into fine powder)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 9 oz. of Hershey bar, grated
- 1 ½ cups pecans, chopped
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and both sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda together. Gradually
add dry ingredients to cream mixture. Add chocolate chips, grated Hershey bar and pecans.
Drop from a 1-inch ice cream scoop onto parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees
for 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned.
