Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong landed the Apollo Lunar Module on the surface of the moon on this date in 1969. Armstrong would be the first man to walk on the moon on July 21. Robert L. Nock, A retired NASA employee and a director of A&N Electric Cooperative, shares his story of the Apollo Moon Landing and how it affected his life in the August Issue of Cooperative Living.
