Any A&N Electric Cooperative member who would like to serve on the Cooperative’s nominating committee or credentials and elections committee for the upcoming 2024 board election should contact the Cooperative prior to Dec. 29, 2023.
Nominating committee and credentials and elections committee members are Co-op members appointed by the board of directors but act as independent bodies.
The credentials and elections committee certifies board candidates for board elections and oversee the election process.
The nominating committee is tasked with nominating a slate of candidates, who have been previously certified, for any board seat up for election in 2024.
Credentials and elections committee members and nominating committee members cannot be a close relative of any incumbent director, any Cooperative officer, employee, agent or representative, or of any declared, probable or actively campaigning candidate.
