January/February Super Sleuth

The Jan.-Feb. Super Sleuth was about Groundhog Day. For a chance to win a $25 Amazon email gift card, kids were asked to find a hedgehog in the magazine and give the page number, give the date and location of the first Groundhog Day in America and whether they think the groundhog is a reliable meterologist.

The correct answers are:

• Page 29

February 2, 1887, at Gobblers Knob in Punxsutawney, PA

• “Yes, because the groundhog has predicted 106 winters and 20 early springs”
