Ice Cream in a Bag

Ice Cream in a Bag

Ingredients

½ cup whole milk or cream
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
6 tbsp salt
ice
1 gal zip-style bag
1 zip-style sandwich bag
Favorite toppings (fruit, sprinkles, chocolate, etc.)

Directions

Pour whole milk or cream into sandwich bag, adding in sugar and vanilla.

Remove air from bag and zip seal firmly.

Fill the gallon bag 2/3 full with ice and add salt.

Place the sealed sandwich bag containing the milk or cream mixture into the gallon bag of ice.

Close the large bag and shake for 5-7 minutes until the contents of the sandwich bag appears thick.

Remove sandwich bag and rinse the outside of the bag to remove salt.

Open sandwich bag and scoop out the ice cream.

Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

  8. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
