Youth Tour

Rising high school juniors eligible for all-expense-paid experience

Do you know any high school junior students who could benefit from a unique opportunity to join fellow Youth Tourists from every state in the nation for a week of learning and fun?

This year, Prince George Electric Cooperative will sponsor students from its service area to proudly represent their electric co-op on this amazing trip.

Students will spend an all-expense-paid week in the nation’s capital to build connections, all while learning about. our history and how they can use that to bring value to their lives and do their part as citizens. Students who are selected will attend a scheduled five-day event from June 15-21, 2024, to visit the Smithsonian, Capitol Hill, Arlington National Cemetery, the Newseum (the world’s most interactive museum), the Lincoln Memorial and more! They will also get the opportunity to interact with their members of Congress, senators, and legislative staff by asking them questions and understanding their role in the Capitol.
