Youth Art contest has concluded for 2019.
Each year we hold our annual Youth Art contest to encourage youthful creativity and give kids a chance to share their creativity with the magazine’s 1.25 million readers. The contest is for children kindergarten through fifth grade. They are tasked with the challenge of portraying visual interpretations of a theme. The staff at the Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives, publisher of Cooperative Living, judge the submitted entries. Three winners (first-, second- and third-place) will be selected in each grade category and all winning entries will be published in the July issue of Cooperative Living. First-place winners will each receive a $25.00 prize, and the entry judged “Best of Show” in all categories will receive a $100 prize and be featured on the cover of the July issue of Cooperative Living.
Keep checking back here for the call for entries and in the
February and March/April issues of Cooperative Living Magazine.
