READER APPRECIATES LEGISLATIVE GUIDE
I appreciate the space you provided in the January 2019 issue of Cooperative Living featuring the impressive 2019 Virginia Legislative Guide. I am delighted to have received the contact information for Virginia’s 2019 delegates and senators.
It is refreshing to see that Virginia’s consumer-owned electric co-ops believe, as I do, that our elected government leaders should be accessible and responsible to their constituents. Thank you for this invaluable tool to contact Virginia General Assembly members.

STORY SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED MENTION OF FARM-SUPPLY/ HARDWARE BUSINESS
The January Crossroads story about Milford committed a faux-pas by omitting any mention of G and G Farm Supply and Ace Hardware, a local Milford institution.
Run by the Gravatt family, the store is located on Antioch Road and Route 301, right across from Whispering Pines Christmas Tree Farm (which was mentioned in the article).
G and G provides local farmers and Caroline County residents not only with anything they need for farm, home and garden but a place to go to in the community for information, expertise, and good, old-fashioned camaraderie. In fact, the Gravatts and their employees, some of whom have been there for 20-plus years themselves, have been doing so in this spot for more than 50 years.
Any article about Milford just isn’t complete without a mention of this Caroline County landmark.

WILD GAME RECIPES A DOWNER FOR READER
Your article about cooking with wild game broke my heart. So many of us love our wildlife. I wish you would do more to promote conservation.
Perhaps you should do an article about Southside Virginia Wildlife Center. They have helped many injured and orphaned wildlife.
Hunting season for us is always a sad time!
